Four Georgian photographers released after plea bargaining.

TBILISI, July 22 (Itar-Tass) —— Four Georgian photographers, who had made a deal with the prosecution, were freed in the courtroom on Friday, the local media said.

The Tbilisi City Court released Georgian Presidential Administration photographer Irakli Gedenidze, his wife Natia Gedenidze (a photographer of a local newspaper), photographer of the European Photo Press Agency Zurab Kurtsikidze and Georgian Foreign Ministry photographer Giya Abdaladze.

Neither reporters nor their lawyers made any comment.

The Georgian Prosecutor’s Office said on Friday it had appealed to the Tbilisi City Court for conditional sentencing of the photographers.
