Georgian delegation headed for Kyiv to Yanukovich’s inauguration – News – GeorgiaTimes.info: “Georgian delegation, including Speaker David Bakradze and his deputy Mikheil Machavariani, this morning departed for Kyiv to participate in the inauguration of new President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich.
The decision to send the parliamentary delegation was made by President of Georgia. Grigol Vashadze, the Foreign Minister, explained that the head of state wouldn’t be able to attend the ceremony due to important meeting on February 25th. Previously Nino Kalandadze, the deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, stated only general message on the ceremony date had been received, and no personal invitation for Saakashvili.
In the course of his visit Bakradze intends to meet with the new President of Ukraine and discuss issues of bilateral relations.”
