Thousands of protesters in Germany are rallying against the trasnportation of 123 tons of radioactive waste to the storage facility in Gorleben, Lower Saxony. Radioactive waste from 17 nuclear plants in Germany is reprocessed in France and is then transported for storage in Germany.
