MOSCOW, Jul 29 (PRIME) — The Russian government plans to allocate 48.5 billion rubles to a national special purpose program aimed at the preservation of Lake Baikal in the Irkutsk Region in 20122020, according to the governments documents seen Friday, RIA Novosti reported.
In December 2010, Deputy Natural Resources Minister Igor Maidanov said that the government would allocate 1 billion rubles to the program in 2011.
