A massive wave of protest rallies is due to start shortly in Israel. Late on Saturday, demonstrators are due to take to the streets in several cities across the country.
The demonstration, which will be accompanied by slogans for social rights, will be complete with musical performances, as artists join in to support the movement, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz has cited organizers as saying.
Rallies are due to start at 9 pm on Saturday with the main events expected in Tel Aviv, where the mass rally will be held at a square in front of the Tel Aviv Museum.
The key demands include affordable housing, food, healthcare and education.
