Russian cosmetics producer, Kalina, has posted a FY 2010 Net Income of 975 million roubles under IFRS.
The bottom line was up 135% year on year from the 415 million rouble net profit posted for FY 2009, with EBITDA increasing 33% to 1.9 billion roubles, on the back of a 14.7% sales increase to 11.7 billion roubles from 10.2 billion sales posted a year earlier.
The company said that its higher sales were due to a greater focus on branded products, with the year seeing heavy promotion and investment into distribution, with more than 290 new products appearing during the year.
