Libya is demanding to call an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the military operation launched by French, British and US military last Saturday. This comes in an official statement of Libya’s foreign affairs committee broadcast on local TV.
Libya is ready to fend off the aggressors, the statement says stressing that the West has violated the UN resolution imposing a no-fly zone over Libya.
