MOSCOW, June 2 (RIA Novosti) – A small plane crashed in the Moscow Region on Sunday, killing a pilot, a spokesman for local emergencies has said.
The Extra 330 plane was on its training flight near the Gryzlovo airfield, in the Serpukhovsky district, to the south of Moscow, when it got into a spin and crashed.
The plane was participating in an air show, investigators said.
“The cause of the incident is being investigated,” a spokesman said. Preliminary reports said there were no passengers onboard the plane.
