MOSCOW, July 18 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has arrived in Germany.
He and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will attend the 13th round of Russian-German interstate consultations in Hanover.
They also intend to attend the 11th meeting of the Forum of Russian and German Civil Societies “St. Petersburg Dialogue” to be held on their sidelines.
Presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko told Itar-Tass on Monday, July 18, that Medvedev and Merkel would meet at a working dinner in Hanover this evening.
The main events are scheduled for Tuesday, July 19. Medvedev will begin the day with a meeting with members of the Russian and German business communities and then members of the youth parliament.
At about noon, Moscow time, the final plenary session of the Forum of Russian and German Civil Societies will begin. By tradition, Medvedev and Merkel will attend the session and take party in the discussions.
