Open talk of Cyprus leaving euro as British savings are put at risk

Eurozone officials have reportedly held open discussions on the possibility of Cyprus leaving the euro as the European Central Bank said it would switch off the life support for Cypriot banks, wiping out £1.7 billion in British savings.
