Russia’s opposition will hold a March of Millions in Moscow on Saturday. According to some expert estimates, tens of thousands of people are expected to attend.
The march’s venue in the Russian capital’s center was approved by the authorities on Tuesday evening following long talks.
The Left Front movement led by Sergei Udaltsov, the Communists, Parnas party representatives Mikhail Kasyanov and Boris Nemtsov are expected to attend the event.
Yabloko party representatives, businessman turned politician Mikhail Prokhorov and the Right Cause party said they would not attend the demonstration.
A parallel “March of Millions” is planned on the same day in St. Petersburg.
