MOSCOW, March 10 (RIA Novosti) – Over 900 dead pigs have been retrieved from the Huangpu River, a drinking water source for residents of Shanghai, China’s most populous city, the local media reported on Sunday. The pig carcasses were first spotted in the Songjiang section, the upstream of the Huangpu, according to the city’s water supply bureau. The bureau said water quality had not been affected.
