Pensioner in Russia finds grenade launcher in doorway

A pensioner in the city of Kazan handed in a grenade-launcher to local police which he said he had found in the entrance hall of his apartment block, regional police said on Thursday.

“A man came into the headquarters of the police in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan, who had found what he recognized as a grenade-launcher on the stair well. He quickly took it to the nearest police station,” the police said.

Police confirmed the weapon was indeed a single-shot RPG-18I anti-tank missile.
