A man trying to take bird’s eye photos of an anti-Putin rally in central Moscow fell to his death from a building, police reported on Sunday.
“An unidentified man with a digital camera climbed the fire escape of the building on Bolshaya Yakimanka. He fell down at the level of the fifth or sixth floor and died of injuries on the site. Eyewitnesses reported the accident to the police,” police said.
He has yet to be identified.
Thousands of people gathered in downtown Moscow on Sunday to protest the May 7 inauguration of Vladimir Putin, who is to return to the Kremlin after four years as prime minister.
