The crime syndicate, which had operations in both countries, was named after the Bolshevik era international workers’ movement.
‘As a result of a large-scale operation in the Russian and Belarusian territory, all members of the International [criminal group] were detained red-handed and arrested,’ the spokesman said.
The detainees are suspected of committing contract murders and selling arms stolen from Belarusian military arms depots.”
