Polyus Gold JORC gold reserves at Kazakh, Romanian fields at 93.5 tns

MOSCOW, Aug 9 (PRIME) — The total gold reserves of Russias leading gold producer Polyus Gold at its fields in Kazakhstan and Romania amounted to 93.5 tonnes as of May, as calculated under the standards of the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC), the company said in a statement Tuesday.

Moreover, Polyus Golds gold resources in Kazakhstan and Romania were estimated at 283.5 tonnes, the company also said.

The total volume of ore reserves at the fields in Kazakhstan and Romania amounted to 57.98 million tonnes, with the average gold content at 1.67 grams per tonne.

In Russia, Polyus Gold has licenses for gold deposits in the Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Magadan, and Amur regions, as well as in the constituent republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
