MOSCOW, October 25 (RIA Novosti) – Board members of the International Association of Business Communicators/Russia (IABC/Russia) have proposed establishing a national effectiveness rating for public relations companies in Russia, the association said in a news release on Thursday.
The proposal was made on October 16 but has only been announced now.
The introduction of a number of internationally accepted non-financial indicators into the rating system will help assess PR companies’ market positions and determine their effective weight and standing, the release said.
Founded in 1970, the International Association of Business Communicators provides a professional network of about 15,000 business communication professionals in over 80 countries.
IABC/Russia was established by Vitaly Rasnitsyn in 2001. The association’s president is Natalia Mandrova.
