Dmitry Medvedev approved a list of instructions issued following a March 1 meeting on state labour policy.
The Russian Government has received instructions to submit proposals on possible measures to boost employment and mechanisms for their implementation starting from 2012.
In particular, the instructions to the Government deal with raising higher education standards in Russia, introducing a number of amendments to legislation, monitoring the effectiveness of the measures being implemented and providing subsidies to the regional budgets for the support of small and medium-sized businesses.
Relevant instructions have been issued to the executive authorities of the Russian Federation.
