Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin tested the new Lada Granta on May 11 at the AvtoVAZ testing ground in Togliatti. Sales will start later this year at a price of 220,000 rubles for the base model.
The prime minister arrived in Togliatti to attend the congress of the Russian Engineering Union. Before appearing at the congress, Putin gave the new Lada Granta a test drive and evaluated the new product.
“You’ve made a good car. It’s good for traveling to the dacha,” said the prime minister.
