Putin to head Russia-EU Summit in St. Petersburg

Russian President Vladimir Putin will head the Russian delegation at the Russia-EU summit in St.Petersburg scheduled for June 3-4, the Kremlin said on Monday.

“President Vladimir Putin will head the Russian delegation at the summit. The European Union delegation will be headed by the European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso,” the Kremlin said in a statement.

There is no information about the agenda of the summit.

At last year’s Russian-EU summit in Brussels, the participants discussed bilateral cooperation in energy sector, Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization and solving international conflicts.
