Rescuers in the western Russian Smolensk Region found a five-year-old girl, who went missing on Friday, one of the rescuers said.
“Dasha was found some two kilometers (over a mile) from her house near a swamp. She was lying on the ground. She suffered hypothermia as it was only +8 Celsius (+46 Fahrenheit) during the night,” he said.
The girl is currently at home and is being examined by doctors, the rescuer added.
He said some 80 people were involved in the search of the girl, who went missing from the village of Yelnya on the afternoon of August 12.
