Right Cause not to deal with any nationalist movements

MOSCOW, August 3 (Itar-Tass) — The leader of the Right Cause party, Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, dismissed on Wednesday media reports saying that politicians of nationalist trend are allegedly admitted to party membership.

“This information has nothing to do with the reality. We have not put and will not put on party lists any nationalists,” Prokhorov wrote in his Internet blog.

“I state absolutely categorically that there are no and there will be no people in our party who share nationalist views,” Prokhorov stressed. According to him, “Right Cause will not deal with any nationalist movements”. “We don’t intend to bring up the issue of ‘Russian ethnicity’,” he stressed. Prokhorov pledged that the party “expresses the interests of all Russian citizens irrespective of their ethnicity and nationality”.

“There is no better way to split Russia than to impose the issue of Russian ethnicity on it. I believe that those who do this are enemies of Russia and of all people living in it,” the party leader stressed.
