Rogozin Remains Head of Military-Industrial Commission

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has approved the membership of the Military-Industrial Commission, leaving Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin as chairman, the government reported on its website.

Rogozin earlier said that the commission would become a “price arbiter” in disputes between the Defense Ministry and defense industry companies.

Yury Borisov remains the commission’s first deputy head.

Other members with permanent seats include: Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev (deputy chairman), Open Government Affairs Minister Mikhail Abyzov, Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov, Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova, Federal Service on Military Orders head Lyudmila Vorobyova, Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) head Vladimir Popovkin, State Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom) chief Ivan Kamenskikh and the heads of other government departments concerned with the defense industry.
