The choir, orchestra and leading soloists of the Rome Opera Theater will perform a concert version of Verdi’s opera Nabucco on the stage of St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theater tonight under the baton of Nicola Paszkowski.
The event is part of the Cross Year of Russia and Italy.
Earlier, the Rome premiere of Nabucco opened grand ceremonies marking the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification.
