Ukraine will continue to play a viable role in transit of Russian gas to Europe but the point of view from Russia’s supply side and Europe’s import side it will be less than it was – at least after 2015
A current supply scenario for Southeast Europe is that up to half or two-thirds of the gas currently flowing through this region – through the Ukrainian system – is likely to go through South Stream
