Moscow, Feb 20 (Prensa Latina) President Vladimir Putin confirmed the Russian strategy in the Arctic today, aimed at rational exploitation of natural resources and hydrocarbon reserves within the limits of the continental platform which this country considers its own. According to the official text, the plan is to prioritize tasks in state policy regarding the Arctic corresponding to Russian sovereignty, national security and defense of national interests in the area.
