Russia favours joint efforts aimed at reducing tensions and normalizing the situation on the Korean peninsula. Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Borodavkin said this during a Moscow meeting with the head of the Japanese delegation to the six-party talks on the Korean nuclear problem.
