Medvedev – Russia will target missile defence sites in Europe if no deal is reached with the US.
This is a prudent move by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to protect Russia from a possible future attack by the United States, Canada, and Europe for control of the Caspian Basin oil and natural gas reserves.
The United States has refused to sign an international legal document stating that the US European Missile Defence Shield will not be used against Russia in the future.
Russia is simply protecting itself against this possible threat to its military defences.
The Russian people MUST realize that the American, Canadian and European people mean them no harm, but that these military decisions are being made at very high levels of government that may even exclude President Barack Obama.
