Russia Switches Clocks To Summer Time — For Good

Russia has permanently switched to summer time.

The change was initiated in February by President Dmitry Medvedev, who said people and animals suffered stress from switching to daylight saving time and back.

Moscow will now be four hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) all year round.

Experts, however, say no study has shown that changing clocks causes either stress or illness.
