MOSCOW, April 26 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s Federal Migration Service said on Tuesday it will submit a draft migration policy concept to the government before the end of the year.
The concept is designed to improve Russian migration laws over the period 2012-2025 and, in particular, increase numbers of skilled foreign workers.
Some 6,800 highly skilled specialists have come to work in Russia since last July, when the government passed a bill to grant special three-year visas for high caliber workers.
A team of experts are working on the concept, which takes into account proposals and ideas from Russian small and medium sized businesses and non-governmental organizations.
