Russian agency to auction Lodochnoye hydrocarbon field on Sep 29

KRASNOYARSK, Jul 26 (PRIME) — Russias Federal Mineral Resources Agency plans to hold an auction for licenses to explore and develop the Lodochnoye hydrocarbon field in the Krasnoyarsk Region on September 29, the agency said.

The starting price is set at 4.3 billion rubles, while the bid increment is set at 430 million rubles. The participation fee set at 100,000 rubles.

Bids are being accepted until September 5.

Russian oil company Rosneft made a bid for the Lodochnoye hydrocarbon field in March 2010. Oil major TNK-BP is also interested in the Lodochnoye hydrocarbon field, the companys Deputy CEO Maxim Barsky said in June.

The C1 recoverable oil reserves of the Lodochnoye field are estimated at 10.503 million tonnes, while the C2 oil reserves are estimated at 32.649 million tonnes. The C1 gas reserves are estimated at 22.451 billion cubic meters, while the C2 gas reserves are estimated at 47.384 billion cubic meters.
