MICHURINSK, July 26 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian agrarian producers benefited from the ban on vegetable imports from European countries, Russian Agriculture Minister Yelena Skrynnik said on Monday.
“I can state unequivocally that our agrarian producers had major benefits to sell their produce,” she told reporters in reply to a question, whether Russian agrarian producers received larger benefits to sell their produce on the domestic market after the EU vegetable import ban.
“For instance, the agrarian products from Astrakhan are sold quite more successfully on our market after the EU vegetable import ban,” Skrynnik noted. “It was profitable for our agrarian enterprises,” the minister underlined.
