The Netherlands has extradited a Russian national accused of distributing LSD via the postal system, the press service of National Interpol Bureau in Russia said on Thursday.
According to Interpol, Polina Grafova, a 29-year old resident of the Netherlands, is accused of organizing LSD-traffic to Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Finland. She sent ordinary envelopes containing the drugs in the mail. Communications with clients were carried out through Russia’s leading social network, VKontakte, as well as via Skype, ICQ and e-mail. The clients transferred the money through Western Union and Moneygram payment services.
Grafova has been put on the Interpol’s international wanted list since April 2010.
She is facing drug smuggling charges. If proven guilty, the woman may receive up to seven years in jail.
