A series of pictures by Russian Impressionist painter Konstantin Korovin that were last exhibited altogether at the 1900 Paris World Fair will be displayed in the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg starting Wednesday.
The exhibition, which marks the 150th anniversary since the painter’s birth in 1861, will include a total of 250 pictures and other works of art created by Korovin, including theater costumes and stage designs.
Twenty-three of the pictures to be exhibited were created by Korovin after his emigration to France in 1923.
The exhibition will run until November 8.
