Russian nationalist released from Minsk remand prison

MINSK, February 24 (Itar-Tass) – Russian nationalist Maxim Martsinkevich nicknamed Tesak (Hatchet) was released from a remand prison in Minsk on Sunday.The ultra-right activist should appear in police on demand.According to the Belarussian Investigative Committee, Martsinkevich should turn up on investigators’ demand. Moreover, the suspect promised not to leave Belarus until the investigation is over.Martsinkevich is suspected of hooliganism with the use of arms. He may face up to seven years in prison.
