The Russian space agency Roskosmos says an unmanned supply ship bound for the International Space Station (ISS) has failed to reach its planned orbit.
The “Progress” supply ship was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
Interfax quoted Russian officials as saying it burnt up in the atmosphere and that its debris crashed in Siberia.
With the recent ending of the U.S. space shuttle program, Russian spaceships are the only supply link to the ISS.
