Russian State Executive’s Apartment Robbed of $184K

MOSCOW, November 18 (RIA Novosti) – About $184,000 worth of cash, jewellery and electrical equipment was stolen Sunday from the Moscow apartment of a top executive at a Russian state-owned company, a law enforcement source told RIA Novosti on Monday.

The executive, who was not named, reportedly works for the Moscow branch of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.

About 5.5 million rubles ($169,000) in cash, as well as video cameras and golden jewelry was stolen from the apartment in western Moscow during the burglary, which the unidentified source said took place in the morning or early afternoon Sunday.
