Russian tourists injured in a bus crash in Turkey on Thursday will get compensation equal to $3,600, the governor of Russia’s Chelyabinsk Region said on Friday.
A bus carrying tourists from the Russian Urals city of Chelyabinsk crashed on early Thursday morning between the cities of Antalya and Belek, in the south of Turkey. Eight tourists, a tour guide and the driver were injured in the crash.
All the injured tourists were hospitalized. Two of them are in a grave condition.
The cause of the crash is being investigated. According to preliminary information, the sun blinded the driver and he lost control of the bus.
