Russians grab 7th gold in synchronized swimming in Shanghai

Russian team won the 7th gold medal at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai.

Russia scored 98.620 points to beat China, which finished with 96.580. Spain won the bronze with 96.090 points.

This year Russia broke the record at swimming championships since no country has ever won seven gold medals at the championship before.

The winners’ plane will land at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport on July 24 at 17:25 Moscow time (11:25 GMT).
