Russians Svetlana Sleptsova and Evgeny Ustyugov have triumphed in the Pursuit in the traditional “Christmas race”, which takes place in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
In the pursuit the Russians came to the finish line with 39 minutes 49.1 seconds.
Germany’s Catherine Hittser and Florian Graf finished 2nd, and their compatriots Andrea Henkel and Michael Grice took third place.
A few hours earlier Sleptsova and Ustyugov won first place in the mass start.
