Regardless of the fact that Russia’s budgetary policy is currently facing evident weakening, it is healthier than in many other countries, Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said on Friday.
“We have a visible recession in the budget policy, but I can’t call it a loss of orderliness,” Kudrin said at a press conference in London.
The main figures indicating budget balance, liabilities and sources remain on an acceptable level, he said. “This is a policy healthier than those other courtiers pursue.”
