Alexey Sobolev of Russia has won gold in slopestyle event of the 16th stage of the 2011 Snowboard FIS World Cup tour in Italy.
New Zealand’s Milu Multhaupt-Appleton took silver and Austria’s Clemens Schattschneider rounded out the podium in third.
Among women Katarzyna Rusin of Poland has become the winner in the slopestyle event.
Slopestyle is an extreme winter sport. The goal of snowboarders/skiers participating in a slopestyle event is to perform the most difficult tricks while getting the highest amplitude off the jumps.
