A campaign called “Feed the Birds” kicked off around the country.
It aims to help our feathered friends survive the winter – they often do not find enough food during the cold months.
Courses are being held at several parks in Moscow until Saturday, teaching kids and adults how to make bird-houses and where to hang them.
Titmice and bullfinches fly to Russia every winter. You can feed them sunflower and vegetable seeds, dried berries and unsalted lard.
The campaign lasts the entire winter until April 1, which is International Birds’ Day.
