American-style role model and star of Sex and the City Sarah Jessica Parker, aka SJP, will arrive in the Russian capital to present the world premiere of her latest comedy, I Don’t Know How She Does It.
“I don’t know how she does it!” That’s what we usually say about people who manage to cope with three, four, or ten things at once. That is exactly what the lead character Sarah Jessica Parker demonstrates on screen.
The majority of Russian women will easily relate to Kate Reddy, who copes with her two children, a stressful job with a financial management firm and husband like a juggler with a bunch of multicolored balls in the air at once.
Her life is a “sitcom” series of funny accidents and awkward situations in which she finds herself daily. It is a non-stop “acrobatic” balancing act in which she is changing baby diapers while selling and buying financial stocks.
“If it were easy, men would do it too,” claims the film’s slogan. The thing is, they just do not know where to start.
When Kate gets handed a major new account which will require frequent trips from Boston to New York, her recently-downsized architect husband also wins the job of his dreams. That means both of them will have to spread themselves even thinner than before. What is worse, though, is Kate’s charming new business associate Jack (played by Pierce Brosnan), who begins to prove an unexpected source of temptation.
