A chain of sex shops in Ekaterinburg has sparked controversy after inviting kids to enter a competition.
The chain, Casanova 69, is offering kids and adults the chance to win an unspecified gift if they can answer one simple question: “Where do babies come from?”
As entries have to be in the form of a drawing, the regional children’s rights ombudsman has complained about the promotion to prosecutors.
He says kids may be tempted to look on the internet or ask adult strangers for the answer, thereby putting themselves at risk – presumably, of knowing the ugly truth.
