New details have come to light about the fatal boat collision on the Moscow River on Saturday that killed one person and injured another.
The accident happened near a luxury yacht club. An eyewitness says the captain of a motorboat who had just received his license was trying to impress his family.
He lost control and smashed into another motorboat, killing one of its passengers. The first boat then hit a wakeboarder, causing him concussion.
This is the second fatal boating accident on the Moscow River in the past few weeks. At the end of July, a yacht collided with a barge at night, killing nine people.
