Somali pirates have received a record 9,5 million-dollar ransom for a South Korean tanker which they hijacked in the Indian Ocean in April. The ransom was dropped on board from a helicopter. The tanker, Samho Dream, was carrying 2 million barrels of oil worth 170 million dollars and a crew of 5 South Koreans and 19 Filipinos.
