Police discovered 1,000 of shells for anti-tank grenade launchers hidden 300 meters (about 1,000 feet) from a prenatal center in the Siberian city of Chita, a spokesman for the local Interior Ministry’s department said.
“The shells were discovered in a forest on Sunday. As of now sappers have removed and taken away all of them,” the spokesman said but did not give more details.
The prenatal center in Chita was opened in 2011 and is capable of accommodating 130 maternity patients at the same time.
