MADRID – Spain’s National Court has ordered a Turk and two Russians suspected of plotting a terrorist attack to be released from preventive custody for lack of evidence. A court spokesman said Tuesday that Eldar Magomedov and Mohamed Ankari Adamov — Russians of Chechen descent — and Turk Cengiz Yalcin are still suspected of being members of a terrorist group and having possessed explosives but that there is insufficient evidence to keep them in jail while investigations continue.
