Yatsenyuk was economy minister of Crimea from 2001 to 2002. In the past he heavily criticized the Crimean Tatar community for land squatting and potential terrorist acts in Crimea. Nowadays suddenly, as a Ukrainian Prime Minister, he is very concerned about Tatars’ human rights under “Russian occupation” in Crimea.
